abstract lady |
WIP - Bog Moon over Downtown |
That said I have 2 works to share. I have been wanting to paint some abstract faces. This lady was my first successful attempt. I really like her but haven't come up with a name yet. The other collage/painting is my interpretation of a photo of downtown Beaufort, SC. I never thought I would get to live in such a beautiful place. I love it here and y'all need to come and visit.
This has been my most erratic posting summer. Life gets in the way of fun sometimes. I hope to do this more regularly in the future. So thank you for coming to visit when I post. I don't always get to answer the comments but they all mean so much to me.
I'm sharing this post with Paint Party Friday. If you have some time go visit the Friday "art show". You won't be disappointed. Have a wonderful creative and blessed weekend.
I love the expression in your abstract portrait. It's got a cubist feel with the geometric shapes in her hair and background. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI love your pieces. And your abstract lady is very nicely done, I wonder why she looks a little bid sad?
ReplyDeleteNice paintings - I especially love the abstract lady - the color and the expression.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work, good to see you around again! Valerie
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful pieces! Life can certainly get distracting at times...
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see you. Hope all has been good with you. Love your abstract. I like the question expression on her face.
ReplyDeleteoh, I love your abstract lady! And the collaged houses in your downtown painting look great. Very original!
ReplyDeleteI'm always so happy to see you here! As long as you're creating something that's the main thing! Your abstract is so fun! Don't forget to schedule art time for your own sanity!
