My 100th Post!
I have been blogging for almost a year (in September). I have hit 2 other milestones - 100 posts and over 10,000 page views. That's exciting - to be part of a wonderful online community and share with all of you. So I will be thinking of something special to do for my one year anniversary. I have enjoyed this opportunity to share my art and I have grown so much artistically through the challenges, and viewing the wonderful talent out there in the art blogging world. You may recognize this small (3x3) tile as the one I posted a couple of days ago (Texture Crimes revisitied). I felt that I would have a series of them - Questions for God. Don't we all have questions for Him? Many (if not most) will not be answered this side of heaven. But the Biblical "heroes" (in quotes because they were all quite human - just like us!) had questions for Him as well. Many of those questions are found in the psalms. This first tile presents a question asked by King David - the man after God's own heart. I added some extra hand stitching and created a small (4x4) textured background for this piece. It can be so comforting to work on a small piece and I love hand and machine stitching. So - thanks for stopping by and leave a comment if you can. I love to hear from you.
