Silencing the critic
Sometimes that "voice" - the critical one - gets very loud. Then I have to stop trying to do things - and just do them. Various types of doodling, including, but not exclusively, zentangling help me to stop thinking so much. I drew this shape tonight and just kept going. I had no idea there was a lady in there - she just showed up. I colored her in more muted colors than I usually go for - just didn't think about it. She is a product of my right brain - and I like her. I had no expectations - thus no disappointment. I like that feeling. Thanks for stopping by.
