I am working in fits and starts - some of the fits are lying on my studio floor - need to think about them. I started 2 new paintings today. Too early to tell. They are in the adolescent stage - hard to tell what they will be.
I am linking this week to Paint Party Friday (happy 4th birthday to PPF). This is a wonderful web site hosted by the lovely Eva and Kristin - who are as faithful as they are talented and sweet. Go visit and be inspired. Thanks for visiting and have a blessed and art filled weekend!!!
Love your rooster! He would fit well to our challenges at Art Journal Journey and Moo Mania (details on my blog). Hugs, Valerie

Haha, I love your description of the paintings being in the adolescent stage:-) Great textures on this rooster!
ReplyDeleteYour rooster is lovely. I have feel the same about paintings that I "finish" - I have to live with them for a while before they make the final cut :) Good luck with the new starts and getting them past the ugly teenager stage.
ReplyDeleteThe sun looks good against the wonderful dark sky. Love your rooster.
ReplyDeleteThe glossy does show up on the background. I love roosters. It looks great to me. Blessings, Janet PPF

Cool! I love the blend of colors on the rooster's silhouette, and the faint print on the sun's silhouette gives it a lot of interest. Blessings!
