Posting my progress on this painting has been very helpful to me. When I take a picture - I can see my work from another perspective. I can see areas that need darker shadowing, colors that need to be adjusted, etc. I added some text from an old dictionary. I still need to "hide" the text a bit under paint - don't want it to glare out at the viewer! I have also written words in various places on the painting - from John and Jeremiah with reference to living water. The dictionary text also references thirst and quenching thirst. Still have some work to do - but I am liking the direction I am heading. Thanks for stopping by - leave a comment if you can.
