So - Howard - my dh - got his wish! The Beaufort Christmas elves heard that he wanted a palmetto tree - and lo and behold! It was delivered the day after Christmas. Wouldn't have fit in his stocking anyway! We have many trees (actually too many and need to thin out) but no palmetto till now. My husband is a happy man. Thank you Beaufort Christmas elves!
