More Life Book 2013

More quirky animals
Week 16 Life Book 2013
A little bit of fun this week - on the left more "quirky".  They are so fun and addictive (in a good way) that I created some other animals as well as one more bird.

The lady on the right was based on the week 16 project presented by Aimee Dolich (her blog is here).  This doesn't really follow the layout she presented - but the basic idea is there.
The lady's colorful hair is full of things that bring joy to me.  I sketched her in my sketchbook first and loved her.  Then I created the journal page and hated her.  Needed a walkaway (new word?).  I made some adjustments to the page and then decided she was finished.  I like her better now than when I completed the page.  My 7 (almost 8) yo grandson (my staunchest supporter) declared her to be beautiful!  That's enough for me.

I will be linking to Paint Party Friday (here) hosted by the wonderful Eva and Kristin.  Please hop on over to check out the wonderful artists contributions to this event.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a blessed and art filled day!

  22. I have almost finished my quirky birds and loved that week's assignment. As you can see, I'm taking Life Book as well, but I am hopelessly behind - haven't had any time to look into some weeks before the quirky birds, but it will come. Life Book is so much fun! I love your quirky animals and that you took the birds a step further into other animals. Very fun!
