More little wordy women
First I want to apologize again - this time I couldn't get into my own comment area. So I didn't get to reply to many comments. I may have to change from blogger sooner rather than later.
I was pretty disciplined this week. I sketched faces at night while everyone was watching TV or reading. Then I managed to get some studio time so I could create the ATC's. I posted the first one on Monday. I like these ladies with the collaged hair. I have them all in 8 x 10 mats and I am still planning on reopening my Etsy shop soon. My little man goes back to school Monday - so that will give me more studio time and set up time for Etsy.
I also created some little doodle animals but didn't get a chance to post. I am linking to Paint Party Friday hosted by the fabulous Eva and Kristin. I will also be linking to Mandarin Orange Monday but not until Monday (LOL). Check out the wonderful art on both these sites. Thanks so much for stopping by - have a blessed and art filled weekend.

DeleteLovely ladies, great idea with the hair. Valerie
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Valerie
DeleteWow you were disciplined, these faces are great, but I love how you do hair! Also, just so you know, your blog wouldn't come up for me on PPF, I went in directly. xox
ReplyDeleteI finally fixed it but now have 3 entries - sigh! Thanks for the comment
DeleteOh, I finally found it! I couldn't figure out where to leave a comment. I also love their text collage hairdos and their necklaces. I keep thinking I might do an Etsy shop, but when I tried before, I never even saw it appear on the front page. So how do people find you?
ReplyDeleteGloria - when you read up on starting a shop - they tell you some of the things that help people find you. Lots of keywords and descriptive words help. Then there are some things you can pay for to be featured. It's really a lot of work but the gallery route just doesn't work so well as well as losing 40-50% to the owner (not that they don't do any work).
Deletethey are beautiful, gina! xo
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteOh, I like them too? Wonderful wordy heads. And embellishes of beads! Simply lovely ladies indeed!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lynn - as always I appreciate the encouragement
DeleteThese are gorgeous, especially the girl with the ponytail. I like the way she is looking off into the horizon. Blessings!

ReplyDeleteThanks Kirstin - it's hard work - hopefully I will go in this time with more understanding of that
DeleteWhat fun, to use text for the hair! I think I might be a wordy woman. I'll have to check my hair to see if their are any words in there. Good luck with your Etsy shop. It really is a lot of work to keep one going.
ReplyDeleteA good shampoo might take care of the words! LOL Thanks for the lovely comment
