My First Post!

I am a lurker - not out there connecting with people.  But this is my day to go public - I am a self-taught mixed media artist - actually a professional finger painter!  I often forget to use a brush.  Anyway - I've been very nervous about doing this - but here I am.  Will post more pictures of things I've done - but picture above is actually a piece that was chosen for a month long display in my new hometown of Beaufort, SC.  It was collaged, painted, drawn on a spare block of wood.  I do love the texture and the raised image of the little girl.  Anyway - here I am out there actually calling myself an artist.  In the past when anyone asks me what I make - I usually said "messes".  (my FROG studio is certainly one).  That's it for now.
