Spent the morning on a different kind of "artistic" endeavor. Made acorn cookies (chocolate kiss, mini nilla wafer, butterscotch kiss - glued together with icing) for my grandson's "author's tea' this afternoon. His 1st grade class have been writing books and today they are having a tea to celebrate and will sell the books to us to raise money for other class projects. I think this is such a charming idea and found the cookie idea on allrecipes.com. I liked it because it isn't the normal ghostie or graveyard theme and required no baking! (not my favorite - cooking is much more forgiving). Thought I would share this with you. Hope you enjoyed!
