Thought I would share some of the process of creating a new layered and textured piece. Most of this is inspired by Dina Wakely and Christy Tomlinson (when I get to the texture part) from the 21 Secrets forum. I have created the base layer on a much larger piece of Bristol paper (19 x 24) - gessoed on both sides just to give it a little more substance. Now comes the interesting part - finding the image (s) I want to concentrate on. These pics show a couple of different angles. I'm open to suggestions - what do you see? Feel free to leave comments!
