Van Gogh inspired continued
I had some time today to work on my painting inspired by Van Gogh's The Sower. Mine is, of course, a beach scene. I have sketched a little girl in the lower left corner. (I saw her on the beach one day with her arms thrown up joyfully). It's very faint - not sure if you can see her. I might not have the pose exactly because she only held it for about 10 seconds!! Not sure how I'm going to incorporate the figure - should she be kind of a primitive silhouette like in The Sower? Lots more work to do here. I'll post as I have time (and energy) to work on it. Let me know what you think and thanks for stopping by.

ReplyDeleteLovely work in progress ~ the colors are dynamic ~ thanks, namaste, ^_^
ReplyDeleteLookin' great!!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the texture in the sky and the movement in the water. Yes, I think the girl belongs in the corner, but she doesn't need a lot of detail, just the suggestion of the figure maybe.
