Van Gogh inspired continued

I had some time today to work on my painting inspired by Van Gogh's The Sower.  Mine is, of course, a beach scene.  I have sketched a little girl in the lower left corner. (I saw her on the beach one day with her arms thrown up joyfully). It's very faint - not sure if you can see her.  I might not have the pose exactly because she only held it for about 10 seconds!! Not sure how I'm going to incorporate the figure - should she be kind of a primitive silhouette like in The Sower?  Lots more work to do here.  I'll post as I have time (and energy) to work on it.  Let me know what you think and thanks for stopping by.

  3. Love all the texture in the sky and the movement in the water. Yes, I think the girl belongs in the corner, but she doesn't need a lot of detail, just the suggestion of the figure maybe.
