Thought I got nothing done but I did!

I wasn't going to post anything for Paint Party Friday because I thought I hadn't done much.  Then I looked at my sketch book and realized I had made a bunch of sketches as I waited for my car tune-up and watched TV with my grandson.  So I'm posting some of what I  accomplished this week.  I don't have 3 large canvases completed but I tried to draw something every day.  I mostly drew from my head this week - but that's ok too.  Maybe I'll get more studio time next week.  I'm linking to Paint Party Friday (here).  Visit this wonderful site, managed by the fabulous Eva and Kristin and feast your eyes.  Thanks for stopping by here and have a blessed and art filled day!!!

    I think drawing from your head is great. Your giraffe caught my eye right away. I bet he would be a great character in a book.

    Love them all, but your elephant makes me smile, and the giraffe has a lot of personality. I love drawing from imagination too, and at least it must be original because no-one else can see inside our heads!

    Love that laughing Fish! I'm glad you had your journal to remind you that you were busy. I think we all have a sense of not doing enough -- a sort of floating anxiety -- but a journal can remind us of how much we really do each day. This also shows what a great imagination you have!

    I think it is wonderful to be able to sketch "from your head"/ from memory - that is something that I find super challenging

      Thanks so much - my gs is wonderful - he thinks I am beautiful and a fabulous artist! We can all use a fan club (PS - I think he's handsome and talented as well)

    I think what you have done is wonderful....it is not always possible to do what we think is a acceptable....just go with the flow and be proud of your efforts...lovely work!
