Back to work after a wonderful weekend

Kate's lovely card
I had the best Mom Day present ever - and I planned it myself.   I went to Saluda, NC and took a fabulous class with Kate Thompson.  The place is Random Arts in Saluda and it's a fun venue (thanks Jane Powell) - with fabulous visiting artists.  Read all about it here.  Learned some new techniques with plaster, stencils and Ranger re-inkers and have used them in my second Angelic Musings painting.  First one is sold!  Yay!

On my left is a gorgeous Mother's Day card sent to me (yes - via snail mail) by my friend Kate Diegnan.  She was my first recruit when I was a Stampin' Up demo - and although she lives in NJ and I now live in SC -- we have kept in touch.   She sends me cards for all major holidays - Christmas, Mom's Day and even my birthday!  (her son and I have the same birthday)  Go and take a look at her beautiful cards here - Thanks so much for the card Kate!

Have a blessed day - go forth and create!!!

  1. Thanks for the mention! Love your "diva" painting! She reminds me of Diana Ross and her concert in Central Park--in the rain! LOL
