Restarting

Zentangle owl / Peerless watercolor background
Conte crayon and ink
It hasn't been easy for me to get going again.  However, I did do a couple of small projects.  The owl was done in my favorite Copic markers and black ink.  The watercolor background gave me a chance to play with one of my Christmas presents - Peerless watercolor papers.  They are lovely and vibrant (more so than my picture) and they do blend beautifully.  The third picture is of a pen sketch of a baby cup given to my dh when he was born and colored with gray and black Conte crayon - a tough coloring medium for me.  I colored and then used my eraser to create some highlights.  The sketch was done in different lighting and from a slightly different angle.  I am looking forward to registering for Life Book 2013.  I think I need a big something to get me painting again.  I plan to take a couple of live courses in 2013 as well.  Thanks for stopping by and I love to hear what you have to say so leave a comment if you can.

  1. The zentangle owl is great, like the other things as well. I need to be getting back to my art too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, now I know where to find you I'll be back.
