29 Faces in September - Day 16

day 16
I spent a little time today on a Modiglianesque (say that 3 times fast without swallowing your tongue!) lady.  I love his portraits with their elongated faces and necks and he puts so much character into them as well.  This is a slightly better shot at my version than the slightly masculine lady from yesterday. I am using some of my time during September using famous artists as inspiration.  I found out that exaggerated features are much harder to do than realistic ones!  Thanks for stopping by - I'm still a day behind but should catch up tomorrow.  Have a blessed and art filled day.

  1. She is great, I love the exagerated nose and the tonal quality.

    1. Thanks - actually the tonal quality is due to poor night time lighting. It was worse before I adjusted the light in photoshop! LOL

  2. She has the elegant lines of a 'Modigliani' face.
