2 wild beasts and a lovely birthday card

Endangered Series - Jaguar WIP

Birthday Card
My "baby" brother asked if I would paint a jaguar as part of my "endangered" series and I started it this week.  I love that he is at a giant scratching post - kitties big and small, domesticated and wild share so many characteristics.  On the right is a lovely birthday card - sorry I took so long to post this - from my friend and former recruit for Stampin' UP!  Former in that I am no longer a demonstrator.  You can see her beautiful work here.  The last image below is of my dangerous cranky diva - our Boston Terrier.  We rescued her 3.5 years ago and she is a pip!  A definite personality and keeps me laughing with her craziness!  And she is fierce - if anything bigger than her approaches when we are walking - she is a beast to be contended with.  In the house - not so much!  Thanks for visiting me today - I am linking to Paint Party Friday.  Go over and visit this fabulous collection of artists from around the world. Have a blessed and creative day.

  4. My sister and I, walking through the forests of our childhood, spotted a mountain lion sleeping high in an oak tree. Below was a huge stump where he'd sharpened his claws. Amazing to find such a thing--I love your painting of the jaguar. I also (grin) love the photo of your, er, wild and dangerous Boston Terrier! Ahahahaha.

  10. Your jaguar is fantastic, and you definitely capture their more playful side. I love your Boston Terrier. We have a 12 year old Boston Terrier, which we inherited from a friend that moved abroad when he was 2 years old. Although he's calmed down considerably, he can still be a ham. Blessings!
